People often ask, “Does Paypal support Pakistan?”. And my answer to them is always, “NO”.
Sometimes, this thinking irritates too much that why we can’t use Paypal in our country. E-commerce is the most famous thing these days and unluckily most of the E-commerce websites accept Credit Cards or Paypal. Every Pakistani can not afford Credit Card, hence, the resultant is no shopping online. Though some of such websites allow to send payment through Western Union but not everyone is reachable to this method as well. Some Pakistani E-commerce websites also give the facility of payment through bank accounts.
As I mentioned in one of my previous blog post, I’m using Paypal account since 2005. MashAllah no problem so far and I hope inshAllah everything goes well with my account.. In this post, I’ll tell you about using Paypal in Pakistan.
First Step
Go to www.paypal.com and register the account. Follow the following guidelines during registration process.
- Choose Account Type “Premier” (You can also upgrade to Business later on).
- When you’re about to select a country, then do not choose any Asian country. I’ll suggest you to go with USA. For the State and ZIP, search on Google and you’ll find plenty of US States with their ZIP codes. Choose any one of them.
-It’s up to you that you use real name or fake name but if you’re a webmaster and use to send and receive money online then, I’ll suggest to use your real name.
- Don’t include your real address in the field. You can put anything fake like House # 35, Street # 3 etc.
- Use the email address which is always active and you believe that you’ll use it forever. By the way, you’ll still be able to add another email address after registration.
Second Step
Once your account is created, don’t get excited. There are few more things still needed to be done. As you see in your account, your status is shown unverified. This is because Paypal wants accounts to be verified using Bank accounts or Credit Cards numbers. You can not verify it using your Pakistani bank account. I don’t know about the Pakistani Credit Cards, if they work with Paypal or not but it is a strong suggestion not to use it because Paypal will be able to track you with it.
You can use your Paypal account for sending and receiving money, even though it is unverified. But you can send money to the limit of $100, means when you’ve completed the total sending transactions of $100 through your account, you’ll have to verify your account otherwise you will not be able to send a single cent.
Third Step
This step will look quite difficult to some of my fellows but no need to worry. Once your account is ready, start sending and receiving money. As we’re using illegal Paypal account, therefore, we’ve illegal ways of verifying it. The most popular way of verifying Paypal account is using Virtual Credit Card (VCC). I verified my Paypal account with VCC. You can find VCC’s on making money forums. Make sure you find a seller who will not scam you. Google for VCC as well.
VCC usually costs $5-$15. Don’t pay anyone for more than this. Just follow the seller instructions carefully. VCC normally works for 3 days. So make sure you respond quickly to the seller.
Once again, beware of scammers.
Fourth Step
Once your account is verified, you’re free to use worldwide without any limitations. But still there are few things to remember;
- Never contact Paypal about your account
- Once Paypal detects you for cheating, they’ll freeze your account and you’ll loss all your earnings. So never keep high amount in Paypal account. Transfer them to other payment processors e.g. Alertpay etc.
- Never tell the buyer that your account is illegal. He/she can report about your account to Paypal.
Hence, these are the few methods which I tried on my Paypal Account and still using it since 2005. If you find any problem, then don’t hesitate to contact me.

But after your such a detail description, a lot of pakistani people go for the PayPal and they would eventually fix this loop-hole. I’m afraid that they would use IP-Address protection (as we see in Earn with Survey sites) during the registration process.

Frankly speaking, I have to disagree with you that we can use Paypal through the process you told. Paypal System easily detects your IP and country then make your account status as limited. Limited account can only be active after physical verification of utility bills and bank statements. I have recently come across the same situation. And if you said that you have proof by using PayPal form your system at Pakistan based ip, then I am sorry, i can’t believe on it. Maybe these words are harsh, sorry for that, but truth is truth.
But it does not mean that you can not use PayPal in pakistan. You can officially and legally use PayPal in Pakistan. How? do your own research and you will definitely get a better way to use Paypal while sitting in your office at Pakistan.

You can transfer your money from Paypal to Alertpay but for this purpose, you’ll need to find some exchanger.
For anyone who is using Payoneer card regularly, there is a good news for them. Payoneer is now offering virtual us accounts which you can used as ACH clearing purpose to get funds from Paypal. When funds cleared by ACH, you can withdraw payments using your Payoneer card in Pakistan from any ATM using MCB.
Please note Virtual accounts is not available to every Payoneer users. You must have 10 transactions through your Payoneer card to apply for a Virtual Account. I hope this will help for those people having Payoneer card in their pocket.

There is some lady who provides verified paypal account to non-listed countries like South Korea, Pakistan, Nigeria, etc. My friends too requested an account, we have been sending and receving money worldwide without any problems. You can not receive money directly from Paypal. You’ll need an exchanger to exchange Paypal currency to Alertpay. Then, you can use Alertpay to receive money.

It is possible but there are some limitations. You need to have US based Paypal account.

You can ask your brother to register a new paypal account with his name. You can then use his account.
